Texas Tech’s last-second loss to TCU will go down as one of the most dramatic games of the season in the Big 12. And despite the loss, the Red Raiders could walk away big winners on the recruiting trail because of the environment in Lubbock and the reaction from top prospects. RecruitingNation presents a look at the top Big 12 recruiting visits viewed through social media:
Texas Tech had a large crew of visitors on campus this weekend and Red Raider commits like three-star offensive tackles Emoree Giddens, Zach Adams and Travis Bruffy and three-star dual-threat quarterback Jett Duffey loved what they saw from the offensive side of the ball.

Four-star Tech receiver commit T.J. Vasher said the game was one he’ll never forget.
Best football game I've been to #TTU

Even Texas Tech’s defensive commits were fired up with the way the Red Raiders were almost able to pull off the upset. Three-star defensive end Houston Miller posted a number of pictures from his time in Lubbock, including one with Duffey and Vasher.
Time to get it!! #GunsUp #WreckTCU pic.twitter.com/L0dRAneELm

And there seems to be little doubt about how solid Miller’s commitment to the Red Raiders is.
I would be a Red Raider over a frog ANYDAY. #GunsUp #WreckEm ❤️️🔫

Tech also had a number of high-profile uncommitted prospects in town like Jack Anderson, the No. 28 player in the ESPN Junior 300. Anderson has always been high on the Red Raiders and it seems like the game and environment did nothing to change his thoughts about the program.
Sucks to lose it like that.. But much love for this town and the great people in it! Guns up! 🔴🔛🔝🔜 pic.twitter.com/J5zzx1ytoW

Across the state in Austin, the Horns suffered a crushing loss to Oklahoma State, but it sure seems like a number of prospects enjoyed what they saw, including three-star 2017 receiver Roshauud Paul. Paul backed off a commitment to TCU and is getting a serious look by the Longhorns.
Unofficial to UT this weekend 😈🐂 #HookEm

And it’s probably safe to say that 2017 offensive lineman Garrison Tullos’ visit to Austin was alright, alright, alright.
Good visit at UT today got to meet THE Matthew McConaughey 🐂 🙌🏽 pic.twitter.com/59hkrhrC6j

West Virginia played host to a good group of visitors for its blowout victory over rival Maryland. The Mountaineers’ impressed on the field and it looks like they did off, too, as ESPN 300 receiver Binjimen Victor spoke highly of his official visit.
Had a great time in West Virginia ‼️ Now I'm headed back to the crib 😎 SoFl💯🙏🏼
