ESPN Fantasy Projection: Johnson signed with and was later cut by the Browns after a tumultuous 2024 campaign spent with Carolina, Baltimore and Houston. Johnson remained a heavily targeted receiver during his seven games in Carolina (8.3 targets per game), but his output was boom/bust (19-plus fantasy points three times, but fewer than six points the other four weeks) and he was then traded to and released by the Ravens prior to landing with the Texans. Things went very poorly in the final two stops, as he totaled three catches in five games. Johnson enters his age-29 season looking for work. It's possible he could find his way back into the flex discussion (he finished in the top 40 in PPG four straight seasons from 2020 to 2023), but it's more likely his days of fantasy relevance are over.
