News: 18 hours agoBrown (ankle) did not participate in practice Thursday, Olivia Reiner of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Spin: Brown suffered an ankle injury in preparation for Week 3, which led to him missing the Eagles' loss to the Bears on Monday night. The severity of his injury is uncertain, but the 29-year-old also opened the week as a non-participant in practice Wednesday. With back-to-back absences, Brown's availability for the Week 4 matchup against the Rams could be in jeopardy should he remain sidelined Friday.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Brown signed with the Eagles and he's likely to slot in either third or fourth on the team's depth chart behind DeVonta Smith, first-round rookie Makai Lemon and perhaps Dontayvion Wicks. Once a featured target in Baltimore and Arizona, Brown was more of a situational player during his two seasons in Kansas City. He barely saw the field in 2024 due to injury before handling a career-low 14.2% target share in 16 games in 2025. Brown cleared 10 fantasy points three times, but all came prior to Week 7. With Dallas Goedert and Saquon Barkley also heavily in the mix for targets in Philly, Brown will have to beat out Lemon and Wicks for a starting gig in order to have any chance at flex value.
