Fantasy Football
News: 6 hours agoAllar (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday's game against Cleveland, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Spin: Aaron Rodgers and Mason Rudolph are active for the AFC North showdown with the Browns, and Will Howard (coach's decision) will serve as the emergency quarterback. As a result, Allar will be a healthy scratch for the fourth consecutive week.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Allar was selected by the Steelers in the third round of April's draft. Allar is one of the biggest quarterbacks in this rookie class and, while he has the arm to go with his frame, accuracy is a big concern. Allar was conservative during his time at Penn State (7.6 aDOT), but he still completed only 63% of his passes and averaged 7.4 yards per attempt. In 2025, he had the worst QBR in this rookie class prior to suffering a season-ending broken ankle. On the plus side, he could add value with his legs, as he posted a career 181-1,030-12 rushing line and his 8.3% scramble rate is second highest in this class. Allar will begin his career learning the ropes behind Aaron Rodgers and perhaps Mason Rudolph.
