We all know Leslie Jones is hilarious, amazing and a total badass -- no matter what the Twitter trolls may say. And thankfully, after almost permanently leaving the social network because of constant harassment, Jones is not only back to tweeting, but she's providing perhaps the best Olympics commentary you can find.
You may think you love Team USA, but trust me, your fandom doesn't hold a candle to that of the "Saturday Night Live" and "Ghostbusters" star. She started the weekend with the most patriotic outfit I've ever seen -- just in time for the opening ceremonies.
IS YALL READY FOR THEM OLYMPICS MANE!!! #GoTeamUSA pic.twitter.com/7UhxzNY5Ep

She went on to live tweet just about EVERY EVENT throughout the weekend. While all of her 7,923 tweets (and counting) have been amazing, here are some of the few I can actually show you because of rights and restrictions and, um, questionable language:
Yep we got us a medal Ginny Thrasher shooting that rifle! pic.twitter.com/0CzPxk1TS2

Yo are y'all tired lmao these athletes are incredible I'm exhausted watching lol

Yo please make sure I don't miss track and field cause that's what I'm looking forward to and women's gymnastics of course

And we weren't the only ones to notice Jones' hilarity; she caught the eye of NBC executive Jim Bell, who immediately invited her to Rio.
@shoemakermike OK @Lesdoggg you're officially invited to Rio. Want to come?
- Jim Bell (@jfb) August 7, 2016
While she didn't seem to initially believe it, Bell was insistent and took his offer offline.
@Lesdoggg wow is this what good Twitter feels like? Great call @shoemakermike TY. Leslie will connect wu tomorrow. Everyone else stay tuned!
- Jim Bell (@jfb) August 7, 2016
Now we all just need to hope that this happens and Jones will appear in upcoming Olympic broadcasts. Don't let us down, NBC.
