Scully's voice is recognizable to almost any sports fan, but how would he have sounded on 'Sesame Street'? We almost found out. As he recalled to MLB.com in March, after calling Game 7 of the 1955 World Series, a then-28-year-old Scully took Joan Ganz (now Joan Ganz Cooney) out on the town. "I left the group to get my car and go pick her up. ... Her name was Joan Ganz. ... I'm pretty sure she later became the creator of 'Sesame Street.' We liked each other and stayed in touch, but it never got serious."
