Fantasy Men's Basketball
News: 1 day agoAdebayo will play in Saturday's preseason game against the Raptors, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Spin: It was reported Friday that Adebayo was expected to play Saturday, and he's since been cleared to suit up for Miami's preseason opener. The big man shot a career-worst 44.2 percent from the field last season but averaged a double-double for the fourth time in his career. Over 73 regular-season appearances in 2025-26, Adebayo averaged 20.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.9 combined steals-plus-blocks in 32.4 minutes per showing.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Adebayo has been very consistent with his production, and last year was no exception. In the last four years, Adebayo has averaged a rounded 20 points and 10 rebounds while playing about 74 games per year, and last season his averages were within decimal points of his four-year mark in every major category except field goal percentage (down) and 3-pointers (up significantly). Both of those should be helped by the presence of new teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo, who demands defensive help and should open up easier shots for the veteran Adebayo.
