News: 11 hours agoThe Marlins recalled Serna from Triple-A Jacksonville on Monday.

Spin: The 24-year-old Serna will hit the big leagues for the first time and will provide the Marlins with some added depth in the middle infield after second baseman Xavier Edwards (thumb) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move. Over 337 plate appearances with Jacksonville on the season, Serna slashed .218/.300/.364 with 11 home runs and 14 stolen bases.
