News: 20 hours agoMercer logged an assist, three shots on goal and a minus-2 rating in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the Red Wings.
Spin: Mercer had been held off the scoresheet in the first five games of the year. The 24-year-old fills a versatile role for the Devils, playing just about anywhere he's needed in the top nine. He had 42 points over 82 regular-season games in 2025-26. Mercer can be a steady source of depth scoring and shots but won't add much else for fantasy managers.
