ESPN Fantasy Projection: One of the best goaltending prospects in the league, Fowler made his NHL debut in December and saw action in 17 games throughout the course of the season, going 9-6-2 with a 2.43 GAA and .908 save percentage. Fowler won't turn 22 years of age until late November but it's abundantly clear he has nothing left to prove at the AHL level. How Montreal plans to divvy up their starts in 2026-27 is one of the league's great mysteries. In addition to Fowler, both Jakub Dobes -- the starter the majority of last season -- and Sam Montembeault (and his $3.15M cap hit) remain on the roster. This has the potential to be a mess from a fantasy standpoint. Fowler is a better keeper/dynasty asset than redraft option.
