It's all over here in San Francisco, as Group D concludes with a 0-0 draw between Paraguay and Australia - a result that should be enough to see both sides through to the round of 32. Australia are guaranteed of a round of 32 place after finishing the group in second place. They started well and had three good chances in the first half, but Gill in goal proved to be quite the obstacle. A nervous second half saw Australia spend more time in their own half, with Paraguay attacking and looking for the winner, however, they did not produce a defining moment with Beach not forced into making any difficult saves. Both sides will now need to sit and wait to see who their next opponent will be with Australia to play the runner up from Group G - who could really be any of the four teams in an open group. Paraguay on the other hand have finished third in the group. However, they remain strongly in the hunt for a place in the round of 32 as they currently sit in fourth place on the third place rankings on 4 points.
