ESPN Fantasy Projection: Carleton played mainly off the bench across the first five years of her career, but she started in all but three of her regular-season appearances in 2024 and served exclusively as a starter last year. Despite maintaining a starting role in 2025, Carleton's production declined slightly, as she averaged 6.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 27.9 minutes per game after averaging 9.6 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 29.9 minutes per game the year before. The 28-year-old was the No. 1 pick by the Fire in the WNBA Expansion Draft in April, and she should have the opportunity to step into a prominent role with Portland. Carleton had somewhat limited upside with Minnesota, but she's an intriguing fantasy option to begin her tenure with the Fire.
