News: 6 days agoThe Sparks traded Jackson to the Sky on Sunday in exchange for Ariel Atkins, Alexa Philippou of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: Jackson will call Chicago her new home after spending the first two years of her WNBA career with Los Angeles. She was named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team in 2024 and is coming off a strong sophomore season in which she averaged 14.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 threes over 30.9 minutes per game. The Sky's starting frontcourt will likely be Jackson, Azura Stevens and Kamilla Cardoso, while Maddy Westbeld and Elizabeth Williams serving in depth roles off the bench.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Jackson didn't quite take the leap many were expecting in Year 2, posting similar season-long averages to her rookie season, but she did flash an upside we hadn't seen before. After scoring at least 20 points six times in 2024 with a season-high of 25, Jackson scored 20 or more points 10 times in 2025, including four outings with at least 25 and a career-high 30 against the Aces. The main reason for the increase in scoring upside was due to a higher volume of three-pointers. Jackson attempted 4.9 threes per game last season, compared to 3.1 as a rookie, and she still shot 35 percent from deep. However, she also dropped a few duds, scoring in single digits 12 times. If Jackson can consistently provide a strong scoring punch for the Sparks, she should easily be a top-50 fantasy player in 2026, but when her shot isn't falling, her floor is low, given her lack of production elsewhere.
