CHICAGO -- The Chicago Blackhawks reassigned forward Peter Regin to the Rockford IceHogs of the AHL on Saturday.
Regin was recalled on Nov. 6 and had one assist in four games with the Blackhawks. He has four goals and six assists with the IceHogs this season.
Regin was brought up after the Blackhawks lost forwards Daniel Carcillo and Patrick Sharp to injuries. Carcillo is expected to return to the lineup Sunday. He’s been out since suffering a lower-body injury Oct. 25.
