Redshirt sophomore Luke Graham has left the Penn State football team but will remain enrolled at the school, according to a team spokesman.
The reserve left tackle is the second to leave since preseason practice started. Reserve tight end Dakota Royer left last week because of "circumstances beyond my control" but still planned to earn his degree at Penn State.
Graham did not release a statement and could not immediately be reached. Spokesman Jeff Nelson also declined to elaborate on the departure.
Graham was listed third on the spring depth chart at left offensive tackle, behind redshirt freshman Donovan Smith and redshirt junior Nate Cadogan. Like Royer, he had trouble finding the field. He competed in a handful of plays last year as a defensive tackle but was unable to register a tackle.
He was a former three-star prospect and is the 11th player to leave the team or transfer since the sanctions.
