Texas got a huge surprise from this guy on signing day last year. We aren't expecting anything like that to happen today, but you just never know.
Early enrollees
OT Jake Raulerson (Celina, Texas/Celina)
: The ESPN 150 lineman is capable of helping the Longhorns right away both offensively and defensively. At 6-foot-5, 262 pounds, Raulerson is a perfect combination of athleticism and intensity and is a cornerstone of the 2013 class.
LB Deoundrei Davis (Cypress, Texas/Cypress Woods)
: The 6-2, 215-pound four-star recruit will eventually be an outside linebacker for the Longhorns, but the nation's No. 151 prospect is currently recovering from a torn ACL suffered during his senior season.
ATH Tyrone Swoopes (Whitewright, Texas/Whitewright): While listed as an athlete, Swoopes -- an Elite 11 quarterback -- will be expected to enter Texas' quarterback derby when he steps on campus. Along with being athletic, Swoopes is big a 6-5, 229 pounds.
TE Geoff Swaim (Chico, Calif./Butte College): Texas needs tight ends that can come in and play immediately and Swaim could very well be that guy. At 6-5, 250, Swaim has the ability to block at the point of attack as well as factor into the passing game.
