The Texas Rangers announced several roster moves on Monday:
Outfielder Engel Beltre, left-handed pitcher Pedro Figueroa and 3B Kevin Kouzmanoff were reinstated from the 60-day disabled list and assigned outright to Triple-A Round Rock.
Also, 1B J.P. Arencibia, right-hander Wilmer Font and utility infielder Guilder Rodriguez were assigned outright to Round Rock.
Lefty pitcher Joseph Ortiz was assigned to the Chicago Cubs on a waiver claim.
The Rangers currently have 37 players on the club's 40-man roster. Kouzmanoff, who played in 13 games before back surgery ended his season, and Arencibia, who hit just .177 in 63 games, can become free agents.
