Could Justin Masterson, who spent the bulk of his career in Cleveland, find a new home with another team from the Buckeye State?

Zach Buchanan of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports the Cincinnati Reds held a workout for the 31-year-old Masterson, who has been plagued by knee and shoulder problems in recent seasons and last pitched in the majors with the Boston Red Sox in 2015.
Masterson, who pitched in the Pirates’ minor league system last season, spent six seasons with the Indians and was an All-Star in 2013, when he was 14-10 with a 3.45 ERA.
Buchanan adds the Reds would be interested in only a minor league deal should they end up negotiating with Masterson.
