Dante Exum and Rodney Hood, both first-round picks in 2014, will take part in the Utah Jazz's summer league mini-camp set to begin Friday, the team announced. The duo will be joined by a full roster of players, including this year's top pick (No. 12 overall) Trey Lyles and second-rounder Olivier Hanlan.
Exum, the draft's fifth pick a year ago, struggled in a full slate of games (41 starts) for the Jazz last season while Hood, the 23rd pick, emerged as one of the team's top scoring threats down the stretch.
Other players with team experience include Bryce Cotton, Jack Cooley, Grant Jerrett and Chris Johnson.
The Jazz will host their own summer league from July 6 - 9, playing games against the Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurs and Philadelphia 76ers at EnergySolutions Arena, before participating in the NBA's Las Vegas Summer League starting July 10. The squad for the Vegas league -- still yet to be announced -- is expected to feature many of the same players as the Utah league's roster.
