With the 2015-16 NBA schedule officially unveiled, we’re now just two and a half months from opening night.
The New Orleans Pelicans will kick off their new season with a bang, visiting the defending champion Golden State Warriors Oct. 27 on TNT. The Pelicans’ home opener will come four days later -- also against the Warriors -- on Halloween.
The Pelicans’ high-profile start is no coincidence, as the NBA clearly expects them to brings high ratings all season. New Orleans will make 13 appearances on national television over the course of the season, including another game against the Warriors (Mar. 14 in Oakland) and a game against the Cleveland Cavaliers (Dec. 4 at home).
