The second 10-day contract signed by backup big man Henry Sims expired on Tuesday night, which means he needs to be let go or offered a rest-of-season deal. On Wednesday morning, the Nets announced they have signed Sims for the last week of the 2015-16 season.
Sims has played in nine games during his first 20 days with the Nets and he's averaging 6.0 points and 4.4 rebounds.
Sims will become a free agent on July 1.
