Forward Steve Novak remains an unsigned free agent in the 2016 market and is still hoping to re-sign with the Milwaukee Bucks, according to his agent.

"There have been a few teams that we’ve talked to; you've always got to keep your doors open," Mark Bartelstein told Gery Woelfel of The Journal Times. “But we’re still talking with the Bucks and, hopefully, we’ll make a deal with them. Steve would love to stay in Milwaukee. It’s a very special place for him."
Novak is a career 43.1 percent 3-point shooter, and that skill is something the Bucks can use. In fact, that's why they signed him last February after he completed a buyout with the Denver Nuggets. Novak's season ended just after coming to the Bucks as he suffered a sprained left medial collateral ligament. He still is working through the rehab process.
The Bucks currently have 13 players under contract and are now over the salary cap after they re-signed center Miles Plumlee. If they offer Novak a new deal, it will likely be for the veteran minimum.
