RICHMOND 2, BINGHAMTON 1 (10 innings): The B-Mets stranded a season-high 15 runners, including the bases loaded in the top of the 10th, and suffered a walk-off loss at Richmond. Mitch Delfino stroked a game-ending RBI single against Matt Koch. After Binghamton failed to cash in on two singles and an intentional walk in the top of the 10th, the Squirrels jumped on Koch. Rando Moreno and Mac Williamson singled to place runners on the corners. Delfino plated Moreno by lining Koch’s 1-1 offering into right field. The B-Mets’ woes with men on base started early as they let Kyle Crick off the hook by stranding two in the first inning. Jayce Boyd bounced into two double plays, thwarting a bases-loaded threat in the third and nullifying a rally in the fifth. Boyd left two more on base by grounding out to end the ninth. The bottom of the batting order produced Binghamton’s lone run. With Aderlin Rodriguez on first base in the fourth, Albert Cordero executed a perfect hit-and-run, pulling a single into right field that advanced Rodriguez to third. Gilbert Gomez opened the game's scoring with a sacrifice fly. Gabriel Ynoa cruised through first five innings, needing 57 pitches to hold the Squirrels scoreless. He stumbled in the sixth. Delfino and Devin Harris singled before Angel Villalona legged out a fielder’s choice. With runners at the corners, Ynoa bounced a wild pitch past Cordero, allowing Delfino to race home with the tying run. Box
