PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. -- Jonathon Niese told ESPNNewYork.com he is set to make his 2014 Grapefruit League debut Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals in Jupiter, Fla.
Niese tossed two innings in Thursday's intrasquad game, which marked his first serious action since being dispatched to New York on Feb. 26 for an MRI of his pitching shoulder.
Bartolo Colon makes his first Grapefruit League start on Monday, with Bobby Parnell also due to appear in that game. Dillon Gee will start a "B" game Monday at 9:30 a.m.
