DENVER -- The Mets recently watched reliever Joel Hanrahan throw as he returns from Tommy John surgery. But Hanrahan instead is headed to the Detroit Tigers.
Hanrahan, 32, has 100 career saves, including a combined 76 in 2011 and '12 with the Pittsburgh Pirates.
