If you had every USC Trojan who ever played the game at your disposal, every coach who ever walked the sideline, how would you assemble your team?
That's a question the WeAreSC folks tackled when Garry Paskwietz, Johnny Curren, Steve Bisheff and Greg Katz got together to draft their all-time team.
Each writer drafted starters at all 22 positions, plus a kicker, punter and head coach for a total of 25 picks.
You can see the complete draft here.
Here's a peek at how the first five rounds played out:
First round
QB Matt Leinart
TB Charles White
Coach John McKay
TB Marcus Allen
Second round
Coach Pete Carroll
TB O.J. Simpson
QB Carson Palmer
S Ronnie Lott
Third round
LB Junior Seau
OG Brad Budde
QB Paul McDonald
LB Richard Wood
Fourth round

LB Chris Claiborne
OG Bruce Matthews
Coach John Robinson
Fifth round

Seems like a fun offseason exercise. So let's open it up for the entire Pac-12. Send me who you would draft as your No. 1 all-time pick for your team with one sentence (not an entire essay) explaining your pick. I'll run some of them later this week. If you missed your chance to earn a fictitious Pac-12 blog junior deputy badge during the reader-submitted future power rankings, this is your chance.
