Handing out the helmet stickers from a closer-than-expected Stanford win over Army.
Stanford wide receiver Ty Montgomery: The junior from Dallas collected 130 yards on six catches throughout the afternoon, including a 46-yard TD catch. The 6-foot-2, 215-pounder also added 30 yards on the ground, including an end around that he took for 25.
Army running back Terry Baggett: When the Black Knights needed a play to be made, the junior got the call. The Chicago native accumulated 112 all-purpose yards and exposed a number of weaknesses in a Stanford defense that returned nine of 11 starters from 2012.
Army kicker Daniel Grochowski: The sophomore from Sarasota, Fla., connected on two low, line drive field goals that didn’t earn him any style points. But, the 39- and career-long 48-yard boots put the Black Knights ahead of the nation’s No. 5 team early in the contest.
