Detroit is flying under the radar heading into season despite going 11-5 last year and nearly beating Dallas (which nearly beat Green Bay, which nearly beat Seattle, which nearly beat New England). So the Lions were right there in the mix. They lost Ndamukong Suh (and Nick Fairley), but replaced him with Haloti Ngata and I believe the league's No. 2-ranked defense shouldn't fall too much.
