LAS VEGAS -- The Golden State Warriors lead the NBA Finals 2-0 as the series heads to Cleveland for Game 3 on Wednesday night, and there are two schools of thought.
1. The Warriors are the better team by far, and this series has turned into a coronation. They can start ordering championship rings now.
2. All the Warriors have done is "hold serve" by winning two games at home, as they were supposed to, and the Cavaliers can get right back in the series if they do the same thing with their next two home games.
The second narrative is a little harder to embrace after the Warriors routed the Cavs 110-77 in Game 2 and covered for the second straight game as six-point home favorites. The game stayed under the closing betting total of 209.5, so unders are also 2-0 in the series.
This is our ESPN Chalk Betting Guide for Game 3, so it's those betting results we're most interested in. Of course, they're mostly in line with the straight-up results, as the Warriors have won the past seven meetings with the Cavaliers dating back to last year's Finals and are 6-1 against the spread. Since the start of last season, the Warriors are 9-3 straight up and 8-4 ATS against the Cavs, and the under is 8-3-1.
