Making The Playoffs

Maddux got his first taste of postseason play with the Cubs in the 1989 National League Championship Series, which the Cubs lost in five games to the San Francisco Giants. Maddux took the loss in Game 1 and got a no-decision in Game 4. He would later reach the playoffs 10 times with the Braves and twice with the Dodgers.
