Productive Day

Early July is known for fireworks, and Konerko obliged on July 7, 2009, when he hit three home runs and drove in seven runs during a victory over the Cleveland Indians. Both numbers remain career bests. The day even included a grand slam, Konerko's eighth. He became the 12th player in White Sox history to hit three homers in a game and the first to do it at home since Harold Baines did it exactly 27 years to the day.
