Going Streaking

It's hard to determine the most impressive streak Konerko put together during the 2011 season. He drove in a run for seven consecutive games to start the season, a team record, and he put together a second run of seven straight with an RBI later in the year. What might have been most impressive, though, is that from May 30 to June 10, Konerko delivered an extra-base hit in nine consecutive games, surpassing the club mark set by Al Simmons in 1935. He also homered in five consecutive games (June 17-21), tying a club record.
