News: 1 day agoConcepcion brought in four of six targets for 37 yards, rushed twice for two yards and returned one punt for 13 yards in the Browns' 13-10 win over the Ravens on Sunday.
Spin: The rookie made a quick recovery from the concussion he'd suffered in Week 5 against the Jets, and Concepcion tied for the team lead in receptions and boasted Cleveland's top target tally while finishing as the runner-up in receiving yards. The first-round pick usually works in a short-area role that limits his fantasy utility outside of PPR formats, but Concepcion's 22 receptions heading into a Week 7 road matchup against the Titans do suggest he has plenty of Deshaun Watson's trust.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Concepcion was selected by the Browns in the first round of April's draft. He is a quick and explosive short-to-intermediate receiver whose career 27.2% target share topped this entire rookie class. Primarily a slot receiver during his first two seasons at NC State, Concepcion played more on the outside in 2025 at Texas A&M, but he figures to primarily work inside in the pros (career 72% slot rate), while also helping as a rusher and returner. Concepcion will need to fend off the likes of Jerry Jeudy, Harold Fannin Jr. and fellow rookie Denzel Boston for targets in an offense with quarterback issues, so while he has upside, he's best valued as a flex.
