TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Mike Perish threw two touchdown passes and Indiana State stopped Quincy 44-0 on Saturday.
The Sycamores (1-1), who lost 24-17 at Indiana last week, opened a 21-0 lead in the first quarter and led 37-0 at the half. Indiana State held Quincy to 41 yards passing -- the Hawks were only able to complete 3 of 22 passes and two were intercepted.
Perish was 10 of 16 for 165 yards and touchdowns to Michael Mardis and Demory Lawshe.
The Hawks (0-2), members of Division II, were coming off a 54-31 loss at Northwood (Mich.).
