NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Tennessee State rallied twice in the first half and scored 17 fourth-quarter points to put away Austin Peay 34-14 on Saturday.
Michael German dominated the game, passing for 318 yards and three touchdowns for Tennessee State, which is 3-0 for the first time since 2008. He completed 27-of-36 passes.
Travis Ward caught nine passes for 109 yards and a touchdown, and A.C. Leonard caught five for 82 yards and a score.
German threw 51 yards to A.C. Leonard with 2:12 left for the final score of the game.
