Wagner 31, Colgate 20
NEW YORK -- Nick Doscher passed for two touchdowns and ran for another Saturday and Wagner stopped Colgate 31-20 in a first-round Football Championship Subdivision playoff game.

A season-high five turnovers hurt Colgate. Wagner's first score, a 17-yard Doscher pass to Anthony Carrington, came on the first play after intercepting a Gavin McCarney pass. Colgate's first three second-half possessions ended in two McCarney fumbles and an interception.
Doscher, who completed 11 of 19 for 95 yards and carried 18 times for 91, including a 13-yard touchdown, has thrown 210 consecutive passes without an interception.
McCarney and running back Jordan McCord, who shared the FCS lead in touchdowns with 22 each, ran for one apiece.
Wagner travels to Eastern Washington for a second-round game Dec. 1.
