Toledo tops Bowling Green 27-20
TOLEDO, Ohio -- Kareem Hunt ran for a career-high 265 yards and two touchdowns and Toledo topped Bowling Green 27-20 on Wednesday night.
Bowling Green's Cody Callaway threw a 17-yard TD pass to Ronnie Moore to tie it at 20 with 13:17 left to play. On Toledo's next possession, Dwight Macon capped a seven-play, 52-yard drive with a 7-yard touchdown run to put the Rockets ahead for good.
The Falcons drove to the Rockets' 30, but that drive stalled when Callaway was sacked by Junior Sylvestre on fourth down with 3:09 left.
Hunt's 91-yard touchdown run with 4:38 left in the third quarter put the Rockets up 20-10. He finished with 30 carries. Logan Woodside was just 8-of-18 passing for 53 yards, including two interceptions, for Toledo (7-4, 6-1 Mid-American Conference).
Moore ran for 64 yards and one touchdown and had 46-yards receiving and a touchdown reception for the Falcons (7-4, 5-2).
