Chattanooga dominates Western Carolina 51-0
CULLOWHEE, N.C. -- Keon Williams ran for 194 yards and two touchdowns as Chattanooga dominated Western Carolina 51-0 on Saturday.
Jacob Huesman, who threw for 126 yards with two touchdowns and ran for another, has 7,174 total career yards, leaving him just 73 off the school record set by Chris Sanders (1999-00). His three touchdowns along with Williams' two first-quarter scores pushed the Mocs out to a 38-0 halftime advantage.
Chattanooga (6-3, 5-0 Southern Conference) and WCU (6-3, 4-1) entered the game as the only undefeated teams in the conference.
The Catamounts only cross midfield twice in the game as Chattanooga's defense swarmed them, limiting WCU to 102 total yards. Nakevion Leslie led the defense with seven tackles. Muhasibi Wakeel had one sack for a loss of 10 yards. Davis Tull and Josh Freeman also had sacks.
The Mocs rolled up 512 total yards.
