Duquesne shuts out Robert Morris 22-0
PITTSBURGH -- Michael LoPresti threw for 133 yards and two touchdowns to lead Duquesne to a 22-0 shutout victory over Robert Morris on Saturday.
Ryan Ho ran for 59 yards on 11 carries for the Dukes (6-6, 2-4 Northeast Conference) and Austin Crimmins kicked two field goals.
LoPresti hit Noel Oduho from short yardage for a touchdown early in the first quarter. Later in the period, a Crimmins field goal from 23 yards gave the Dukes a 10-0 lead at halftime.
In the third quarter, LoPresti struck again, this time from 12 yards to Chavas Rawlins to make it 17-0. Crimmins added another field goal early in the fourth and Duquesne netted a safety when Robert Morris' Erich Maine was dropped for a loss in his own end zone, making it 22-0 with 9:08 to play.
Marcus Prather threw for 125 yards for the Colonials (1-10, 1-5).
