Georgetown hands Columbia 23rd straight loss 24-16
NEW YORK -- Kyle Nolan threw two touchdown passes and ran for another score and Georgetown beat Columbia 24-16 on Saturday to extend the Lions' losing streak to 23 games.
Nolan was 21 of 32 for 264 yards and led the Hoyas (2-2) in rushing with 41 yards on eight carries, including a 4-yard TD run. Justin Hill had four catches for 118 yards and two TDs, including an 80-yarder early in the second half that put Georgetown up 23-10.
Columbia (0-2), which hasn't won since beating Cornell on Nov. 10, 2012, was hurt by two missed field goals and a fumble on a kickoff, which the Hoyas converted into a score.
Cameron Molina scored on 2- and 4-yard runs for the Lions. Skyler Mornhinweg was 22 of 37 passing for 233 yards and an interception and connected with Scooter Hollis 10 times for 131 yards.
