DAVIDSON, N.C. -- DeShawn Jones ran for a career-high 201 yards with three touchdowns to lead Campbell to a 39-9 victory over Davidson on Saturday.
Jones had 19 carries with scoring runs of 2, 51 and 59 yards. Kameron Bryant was 15 of 18 for 195 yards passing with a touchdown, and Jared Joyner ran for a 15-yard touchdown for Campbell (5-4, 3-3 Pioneer League).
Taylor Mitchell was 18-of-36 passing for 160 yards and a touchdown pass to lead Davidson (1-7, 0-5).
Trevor Smith kicked a 25-yard field goal and Mitchell threw a 41-yard scoring strike to William Morris to pull the Wildcats to 17-9 early in the third quarter.
Jones scored his 59-yarder three plays later after the ensuing kickoff, and Bryant threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Blockmon to open the fourth quarter. Jones bullied in from the 2 with nine minutes to play.
