The Big Ten will provide enhanced access to its replay review process for television broadcasts of Friday games this season.
The league announced that Friday broadcasts, beginning this week with three games, will have "access to live audio between the game referee and replay official during reviews, as well as a view inside the state-of-the-art Big Ten Replay Center." The new access policy will apply for 14 Friday broadcasts on Fox, CBS, FS1 and Big Ten Network, beginning this week with Indiana State-Purdue, Toledo-Michigan State and Fresno State-USC.
The Big Ten will have nine conference games on Fridays, beginning Sept. 26 when reigning national champion Indiana hosts Northwestern, and concluding with two rivalry games on the Friday after Thanksgiving in Nebraska-Iowa and Minnesota-Wisconsin. The league opened its new replay center before the 2024 season.
The ACC in 2025 became the first league to provide enhanced replay access for broadcasts with 27 such games. The league has increased its replay access to begin the 2026 season with 19 games from last Saturday through Week 3 and will have at least 27 games where fans can see and hear replay decisions in real time.
