Arizona's leading rusher last season, Ismail Mahdi, and third-leading tackler Max Harris are set to play Saturday against No. 15 BYU after gaining eligibility through a court hearing, the school said on Friday.
"The Arizona football program announced Friday that linebacker Max Harris, running back Ismail Mahdi and kicker Sullivan Moon have been cleared for competition," the school said in a statement. "Harris and Mahdi will travel with the team to Saturday's game against BYU."
Mahdi and Harris, along with Moon, were granted a temporary restraining order Wednesday from a Pima County Superior Court judge for a fifth season of college eligibility. They had rejoined the Wildcats following the federal ruling for eligibility that was later overturned Aug. 21.
Mahdi and Harris are expected to play, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel. Moon is not traveling for the matchup with the Cougars.
Madhi led Arizona with 859 rushing yards last season, averaging 6.4 yards per carry and rushing for four touchdowns. Harris, a linebacker, finished last year with 78 tackles and 3.5 tackles for loss while starting 12 games and being an All-Big 12 honorable mention.
