The Indiana Hoosiers will be without starting cornerbacks A.J. Harris and Jamari Sharpe for Saturday's game against Howard, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Harris, a transfer from Penn State, and Sharpe were both injured in last week's season-opening win against North Texas, but the injuries are not considered long term.
Ryland Gandy, who appeared in all 16 games last season, and Jaylen Bell, who played 55 snaps last week, are expected to see increased playing time for the No. 5 Hoosiers on Saturday.
Turbo Richard, a transfer from Boston College, and Lee Beebe Jr., who missed most of last season with a knee injury, will see the bulk of the action at running back for the Hoosiers on Saturday after starter Khobie Martin suffered a broken forearm against North Texas and will be sidelined until midseason.
