Miguel Hermosillo pledges to Illinois
Illinois expects to take a full class in 2013, and the Illini are closing in on that goal with another commitment Saturday. Miguel Hermosillo (Ottawa, Ill./Ottawa Township) committed to the Illini while on a visit to Champaign on Saturday morning, becoming the 19th member in the Illini's 2013 class.

A star on the diamond and the gridiron, football will be Miguel Hermosillo's ticket to a scholarship as he considers five offers from Division I programs. Eastern Illinois, Illinois, Northern Illinois, Toledo and Western Illinois have all offered the 5-foot-10, 189-pound prospect.
