With TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma State entering the weekend undefeated, the Big 12 was on the minds of a lot of top recruits. That was especially true at Oklahoma State, where the Cowboys used a 49-29 victory over the Horned Frogs to impress a lot of key prospects.

Iowa State still searching for its first 2016 commitment
Iowa State is the lone Big 12 program yet to receive a commitment for the 2016 class. Part of this can be attributed to some of struggles the Cyclones have faced on the field the past few seasons, but a lot of it comes from coach Paul Rhoads' focus on taking recruits that will make a difference, instead of recruits that will just commit.

Oklahoma State working on filling defensive holes with 2016 class
Under Mike Gundy, Oklahoma State's recruiting formula hasn't changed much, and we're seeing much of the same with the 2016 class. The Cowboys love to recruit the heck out of Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas, and those three states -- especially the Lone Star State -- form the foundation of what looks to be another good effort by the Cowboys coaching staff.
