Afternoon all. Welcome to Bready for the second game of today's double header as the home town North West Warriors take on the Northern Knights. With the rain winning the early game today, both teams will be going hard for the win today. It's Justin Smyth here and I'll be bringing you all the action from the ground today here on ESPNCricinfo.
Yesterday the Warriors pushed the Lightning all the way, with Gavin Roulston looking very impressive as he scored his 57 off only 31 balls. Although the experience of the Lightning bowlers came to the fore and as the wickets fell, the momentum of the Innings fell apart too. The Warriors long wait for a T20 victory against the Lightning carries on. There was a big crowd in yesterday to watch the game, hopefully they will be able to see some action today.
With the earlier match being disrupted by the rain, it's didn't give Shane Dadswell to show what he can do as part of this Knights team, lets hope that we get the chance to see him today. It's a long journey up from Belfast to the North West and hopefully the weather with play ball and we get more action then the 8 balls that we saw this morning.
Bready always seems to be hit with the weather and for once it would be nice if we didn't have to keep one eye on the sky. There has been a lot of rain fall overnight and in spells throughout the day. We've already been told that there is going to be an inspection at 3:15pm, with the covers firmly in place. Although as Cricket fans we have to be optimistic don't we? I'll keep you updated as the time goes on.
