At the half-way mark it did feel that the Knights total was underpar and so it was in the end. 60 minutes of impressive batting from the Lightning was all that it took to drive the hometown team to a bonus point win. Tim Tector looked in good form with the bat as he put together another 50, although it was his Captain that put the momentum into the Innings, with a classy fifty off only 20 balls. The Knights bowlers couldn't put any pressure on the Lightning batters, and as they chased the total down so quickly, they pick up a bonus point for the win. Moving them further clear at the top of the table. Tim Tector has been named the player of the match. It must have been a tough decision for the Umpires after Tucker's Innings. The great news for those of you that love IP20 cricket, is that you won't have long to wait until you get to see some more. Tomorrow we have a double header, so please join me then. Play gets underway at 10:45am. Until then, this is Justin saying goodbye from Pembroke.
