Scott Edwards, Amsterdam Flames Captain: Yeah, absolutely. I think we said at the start and it feels like it hasn't started just with the way those first three games have gone, being a bit rain-ruined. So yeah, it's nice to get that first win on the board and then go from here. Yeah, I think there were some really important overs from a few guys, I thought. R. Ashwin up the top when there was a bit of chaos in that powerplay. I don't know what he bowled his three overs for, but that was sensational. And then obviously the spin through the middle brought it back. Tim bowling his three or four overs on the trot was really good, and we felt like that was probably a 180 wicket. So to keep them below that from where they were was awesome. Yeah, I think especially from Yuvraj and then T, that's some pretty special hitting. We felt like there was a little bit in the wicket, but I don't know, it probably didn't look that way, the way Yuvraj was batting at the top. Yeah, I think similar to what I was saying, we didn't feel like we'd done a whole lot wrong. The first game was sort of a close game, and Faf obviously batted really nicely in a little bit of a five-over shootout. So no, the camp was in a good place, but yeah, obviously, you can't get that first win on the board

Yuvraj Samra, Player of the Match: Especially with all the rain, I was just really grateful to be out there and have this opportunity to play. It was just to give the team a good start, just look at, see ball, hit ball, basically just stay in good shape and give the team a good start. I feel like it's pretty natural to me. Since I was a kid, I've always been playing like that, and it's just stuck with me since. I feel like I really enjoyed the slog sweep that went on the roof over there. It just felt amazing. My main goal is to get as many runs in the powerplay as I can, then later on, whatever the situation is, just adjust. I'm really enjoying it, playing with really big stars, Steve Smith, Tim David. Just really enjoying it, learning a lot from them, just having a lot of fun.

George Munsey, Glasgow Cosmic Captain: Jay Roy and I had a nice partnership there at the top, and, you know, it wasn't easy when they hit a length. So, credit to them for the way they bowled in the middle and at the back end. It made it very difficult to capitalise on a good start. Yeah, in all honesty, I thought it was about 165, 170. So, you know, I was happy at the halfway stage with the total. But if you don't quite hit your lengths and hit the straps, then it's always going to be tough to defend. No, look, to be fair to the bowlers, they've been outstanding...for us. This has probably been the first day where they've not quite hit the areas. But no, they've been fantastic throughout this competition. So, you know, the batters probably left about 20 or 30 out there and made it difficult to defend. Yeah, I think so. Look, it's about doing the skill as well. You know, both sides. It doesn't matter which way you do it, you've got to perform, and it's very telling when you hit the stumps. It's difficult. So we just didn't quite nail our plans, and, you know, that's cricket. Not a lot, to be honest. There's a lot of experience there. We've got a great group, so it's just about dusting ourselves off. We're back here tomorrow, so quick turnaround and we'll try and get it right.

van Meekeren to David, SIX, In the slot and out of the park! Half-volley angling into middle, he smashed it over long-on and that's a first win for Flames in this season! It's a comprehensive win; covered all bases and chased it down in a canter

van Meekeren to Edwards, 1 run, He is a great bowler, fuller and outside off, squeezed out into the covers, settles for a run

1
van Meekeren to David, 1 run, He loves to finish in style, renowned for it. Greets a slower shorter ball at middle that zinged in with a miscued hit to midwicket, not quite off the middle, watches his bat

van Meekeren to Edwards, 1 run, Hits a short length, steep bounce around the line off, takes it on and pulls it away to Ali Khan at deep fine leg for a run

Karthik Sundara: "I've been waiting for this match last few days to watch Smith's batting, only to see him get out on first ball. What a waste!"

van Meekeren to Edwards, FOUR, Over the wicket, back of a length around the line off, stands tall and lunges at it, clobbers it past long-on for a four, came down the track and attacked it, audaciously done!
