Mark Chapman, Player of the Match: Yeah, I've had a couple of short games, and I guess it just frees you up. I've had a couple of knocks that have come off. It doesn't always happen like that, but yeah, certainly enjoying it. Yeah. I guess over the years I've sort of drifted towards the white-ball game, and I guess there's nothing like specialising and really putting your energy and focus into that. So yeah, really enjoying my T20 cricket at the moment. I think that's just one of the things you have to keep evolving in the game, is trying to be able to hit the ball 360, and I guess it really puts the bowlers under some pressure. So, you know, thankfully it came off today. Yeah, I guess you always look at a short boundary. There was a bit of a stiff breeze today, but yeah, no, it was awesome batting with Davy (David Miller) as well. You know, he's such a clean striker, and I've admired him for years, so it's nice to be out there in the middle with him. Yeah, I mean, if you asked us five games ago that we'd be here, we'd certainly have taken it. So, you know, we've still got a lot of work to do in this League. It's nice to see some of the boys get to play at their home ground, so we're looking forward to Dublin
George Munsey, Glasgow Cosmic Captain: Yeah, look, he was struggling a bit. I don't actually know. He bowled really nicely in his first two, and he was going to bowl the last one there, so we just had to adapt our plans a little bit. Unfortunately, Jimmy got a bit of treatment at the end there. But, you know, it's great to see him want to get the ball in the final over and want that challenge. Well, myself, not very well, but you've got to be positive and you've got to take the attack to them. I think one thing T20 has taught us is to be positive from the get-go. But we were close in the fight there for a period of time, and the way Jason batted was brilliant. We just needed to support him a little bit better. Yeah, absolutely. We've not really had a decent game as a collective. You know, the bowlers were exceptional for the first few games, and then the batters came to the party the other day, and we haven't quite married it up. We played really nice cricket for 85% of it and, you know, not closed it out, which is going to be tough. Yeah, look, it's no surprise. It's a little bit frustrating, but there's plenty of positives in our group. We've got a lot of experience to rely on, and there's a lot of skill there. So, just looking to put it all together and have a complete game
Glenn Maxwell, Belfast Wolves Captain: Yeah, very happy. The boys through the middle overs there, Chappie and David Miller, did an amazing job to get us to that total. And I always felt like, with the way that wicket was playing, from back-of-a-length to slow balls, taking a lot of pace off, it was going to be difficult to chase
Belfast Wolves' batters rose to the occasion and took the game away after posting what proved to be an impregnable score, thanks to staggering strokeplay from Mark Chapman, who raced to 77 off 33 balls. It was such a great exhibition of power-hitting. David Miller and, earlier, Paul Stirling made handy contributions as well, while the bowlers were given no hiding. In reply, there was always the scoreboard pressure, and Belfast strung together enough good deliveries to keep them from getting closer to the target. Apart from Jason Roy, nobody could get going in the top five. Jimmy Neesham tried to provide a little bit of spark, but this was always going to be a daunting task. Mark Adair picked up a couple and was very economical, Harry Manenti was miserly too, and so was Fred Klaassen. Another net run-rate-boosting win for Belfast as they jump to second and NRR is 0.58
